Profile

Lindsay has been potting since 1992, and selling her work since 1999.

Lindsay came to potting after having her daughters, and studied part-time to gain a GCSE and A-Level in 3D Art and Design and a City in Guild in Ceramics.

She currently works with the Raku technique which she studied at A-Level and was hooked after a weekend course with Annie Horner in the woods of North Wales.

Lindsays work is influenced by natural forms such as pebbles, rocks and geological patterns, especially the tactile qualities of pebbles smoothed by the sea. Other influences are Barbara Hepworth, Ancient standing stones such as Stone Henge and others on the Yorkshire moors near her home.
